]JAR[ CLAN™! is now Recruiting

Well once again JAR clan owes ebeneezer a debt of graditude, we just recently had a malicious malvert who managed to delete all of JAR's information and databases directly from the actual server.

However in his usual superman style Ebeneezer has managed to pull the the magical rabbit out of the hat and retrieve our information and breath life into it again. Fantastic job "Ebe".

Ok to me this is breath of fresh air , JAR clan is not the same clan as before , we will be pushing forward with our efforts to increase the number of our "Game" servers , and from this date we will be vigorously recruiting new members.

We wil not just accept anyone , However if you feel you are worthy of becoming a ]JAR[, one of the best clans in the whole gaming community.

Then register on our website and post your comments in our forums section. There is a thread for that exactly. If you want to Player up then "Lets see what you got"

NEW

Also as well we have added a new module to our website LGSL which you will see in the menu to the left. It will show various types of game servers and if the server is up and the players playing in it at the time.

you can also click on this link .Visitors will be able to add servers (Maximum 20) however they must be approved by an administrator. If you add a server you will not see it immediatly until an admin approves it.

Check back later and your server should be on, supports multiple games

And we have a "XFIRE" module addes as well, if you have an xfire account , go to menu  and submit your xfire account. really cool.

And FaFa has added several new avatars to the forums site and you can use them in your personal section, click on avatar gallery, some of them are a little "RACY' , shame shame Mr FaFa.

Europe threatens web openness

A treaty being negotiated in secret could force internet service providers to monitor internet traffic and services and risk the openness of the web, according to the European Internet Service Providers Association (EuroISPA).

The Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) is a series of negotiations aimed at preventing counterfeiting both on and offline. Taking place between the United States, the European Commission, Japan, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Canada and Mexico, all negotiations have so far been held in secret, although leaks have become more extensive.

EuroISPA is aiming to prevent Europe from adopting a series of laws like those currently in force in America, which subject websites to strict punishments if they do not quickly take down material that is notified as in copyright. The organisation also fears that ISPs will lose their status as conduits, responsible for transmitting data but not the data itself.

Key to the negotiations, however, is their secrecy. The European Parliament will debate a motion on ACTA tomorrow (9 March) and is set to formally call for negotiating positions to be made public on Wednesday. America is known to be among the nations pressing for the process to continue in secret, however, even though they could lead to the creation of new criminal offences.
